BioTed Gellar is a student at North Carolina State University with a minor in Music Composition. This journal constitutes the project records for his Summer 2004 Undergraduate Research Award creative project grant. This project consists of a composition for orchestra and narrator using as a text excerpts from Harriet Jacobs' slave narrative, LINDA: Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, Written by Herself.
